Join Dave Russo & Friends for a night of mirth and marijuana on July 14th at Massachusetts Grower Advocacy Council’s Green Acres Comedy Night fundraiser! If you’re looking to network with cannabis growers and professionals this will be an excellent event to attend. You must be 21+ to enter About The Grower Raffle Prizes of all sorts from all over the Commonwealth will be gathered to help raise money for our non-profit and protect homegrow rights at the Statehouse. Recently named “Best Male Comic” in the city by the Boston Examiner, Dave Russo has been a mainstay of Boston comedy for the last fifteen years. As co-host of NESN’s Dirty Water TV, he produces a regular comedy series, in addition to reporting on the best of Boston night life. He has appeared on The E! TV series “The Entertainer”, NBC’s “The Today Show,” FOX 25 with Gene Lavanchy, “The Phantom Gourmet,” and was hand selected by the producer of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” to perform on NESN’s Comedy All-Stars. Dave was recently featured on BostonGlobe.com’s “Boston, A Comedy Capital” panel, where he participated in a discussion of the history and future of Boston comedy. We work with cultivators, public officials, and the cannabis industry to advocate for standards that encourage innovation and grower advancement. Marijuana Comedy Club Creating a ‘Buzz’ in Brampton

A comedy club catering to pot smokers has opened in Brampton, and tonight will feature arguably its most famous headliner to date – Precious Chong, daughter of Cheech and Chong’s Tommy Chong. It’s located in a mixed-use industrial/residential area near the city’s downtown core. Its owner says it’s one of only two such comedy clubs in the GTA – The Underground Comedy Club in Toronto is the other.
